the unglazed portion gradually seeps into tea stains, soy sauce stains, and hand luster over time, forming a gradual charred brown/mossy green color, like the “tea-in-muscle” texture of antique tea trays;
 
Stacking aesthetics:
the set can be stacked vertically, and the shapes of the pieces can be staggered like a group of square stones in a landscape garden, making them decorative for storage.
